MindOverMatter-dlm Who we are that matters to all of us

At MindOverMatter-dlm our Mission Statement is simple. To spread the word what Hypnosis, NLP, Tai Chi Qigong, Meditation, Love, and Smiling can do to overcome the stress we make in our lives.

A simple story of two high school sweethearts spending over half a century building a common bond of love and happiness. Even with unfortunate outside influences, the two stood together through tears and laughter. Married for a few months, the war broke out, and the young David joined the Marine Corps fought for his country in Vietnam and was severely wounded. Upon his return, after spending 17 months in the Naval hospital with Carmela by his side of encouragement, he was able to walk again. There they discovered “Mind over matter.” His motto was, “If I don’t mind it doesn’t matter.” That took him through the pain and suffering he must endure.

Carmela a young attractive Hispanic young lady had her first job and was degraded because of her ethnicity by a bigot in the 70ies. She held no ill feeling, because it made her believe that when it was time, they would have a company of all mixed races that would flourish as one. Their vision became reality with Metca Steel of the late 70ies. Their goal was 5 plus 5 plus 5. With $5,000 in hand, in 5 years, their goal was $5 million in sales. They achieved it. Unfortunately, with their inexperience in human mature, they were dishonestly tricked by a contractor and lost everything, but their pride and love for each other. Remembering if you smile and don’t mind it doesn’t matter.

They decided to open another company and call it Weiser Iron, because they were Wiser now. And that was the beginning of their story, and now the retired couple decided to share their positive outlook with others through their motto, mind over matter with a smile and the help of all their leaned experiences with employees, contractors, and the general population. This is why they accelerated with the Modalities as stated in their Service Module.

There is so much more to their story and in time they will write it. Over the years it will all come out to the glory of the love they shared.

Carmela and David Metoyer established, built, and operated Weiser Iron, Inc., a well-known structural steel manufacturing facility for over 35 years. Now putting their hearts and minds in what they love in MindOverMater-dlm in order help spread the wellness of mind over body by the power of Qigong and so much more.
