The names of my fallen friends in combat.

Only I was left to remember their names.

The wall screams and pleads with me.

Find me on the wall

Tell me you remember my name

Tell me we didn’t die in vain.

I look, I listen, I cry

I walk away remembering their faces

But not their names.
